Ingredients:-
50g unsalted butter (melted)
1 cup milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 packet Bacon & Onion soup
1 ½ cups plain flour
3 tsp’s baking powder
½ cup grated cheese
2 spring onions (chopped)
½ cup grated cheese, extra
METHOD:-
Preheat oven to 210 C and line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper cases or lightly grease tin.
Combine the melted butter, milk and egg together in a small bowl.
Sift the bacon and onion soup, flour and baking powder into a medium mixing bowl. Add the residue from the sifter. Stir in the first measure of grated cheese and spring onions and make a well in the centre. Pour in liquid ingredients and stir until the dry ingredients are slightly dampened.
3/4 fill the muffin holes/paper cases with the mixture and sprinkle over the second measure of grated cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown - Serve hot with butter.
