Nicky Van pelt's - Sherry Log (Submitted by Nicky)
Ingredients:
1 packet of chocolate chippy biscuits
Sherry
500 ml cream
Plain chocolate for grating
Glazed Cherries
METHOD:
Sherry log:
Whip the cream.
Dip biscuits in sherry.
Stick biscuits together with cream then cover the log in cream.
Sprinkle with grated chocolate and pop some glazed cherries on top, cover with glad wrap and pop in fridge. Make a few hours
before serving.
This Sherry log recipe came from my mum and her mum, simple recipe but always a real hit at any party.
