Ingredients:-
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Ground black pepper to taste
Seasoning salt to taste
2 tsp dried parsley
Chips:-
2 medium-large potatoes
1-2 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
METHOD:-
Homemade Chips in the Air Fryer:-
Chop your potatoes into 8 mm strips. No need to peel them, but you're welcome to if you really want!
Throw them into a medium-sized bowl and add your oil and seasoning. Mix well until well coated.
You can optionally add any additional seasoning you like here - dried mixed herbs work really well and so does dried rosemary. Simply add 1 tbsp of either.
Turn your air fryer on to 200 C (or as high as it will go if it won't reach that temp) and set the timer to 20 mins.
Once your air fryer is preheated, add all your chips to the crisping basket and shut.
After 10 mins, turn them half way. A few mins before they finish, it's always good to check on the chips to ensure they're not browning too much. Of course, if they're not particularly golden yet, you can always add an extra 3-5 mins.
To Serve:-
4 Lettuce leaves
2 Tomatoes, cut in quarters
Chicken:-
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil grate.
Dip chicken in lemon juice, and sprinkle with the onion powder, ground black pepper, seasoning salt and parsley.
Cook on the prepared grill 10 to 15 minutes per side, or until no longer pink and juices run clear.
Serve with French Fries and extra salad!!
