Ingredients: -
1 - 1.5 kg boneless pork shoulder joint, skin removed
2 tsp dried mixed herbs
1 300 ml bottle BBQ sauce of your choice
1 330 ml can Coca-Cola (not diet)
METHOD: -
Put the joint on a chopping board and pat dry with kitchen paper. With a sharp knife make several slashes over the joint. Season all over with salt and pepper and mixed herbs
Pour the BBQ sauce and the Coca-Cola into the base of the slow cooker and stir well. Add the pork joint and spoon over the sauce. Cover and cook for 4-6 hours on HIGH or 8-10 hours on LOW, or by your slow cooker instructions.
Pull the cooked pork apart in the slow cooker by securing with a fork and shredding the meat with a second fork and use as required.
Serve the pulled pork in bread rolls, wraps and with a selection of serving accompaniments.
