Ingredients:
1 chopped large onion
3 chopped bacon rashers
140 g tomato paste
4 cups Massel Chicken Style Liquid Stock
3 celery stalks
1 diced garlic clove
1 sliced carrot
310 g can butter beans
3/4 cup macaroni
1/2 tsp oregano
440 g corn cob kernels
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp salt and pepper (to taste)
METHOD:
Heat a large saucepan. Add garlic, onion and bacon, and fry for 2 minutes.
Add tomato paste, mix well and cook for 1 minute. Add stock, stir well, then add remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook for approximately 40 minutes.
Serve with toast or crusty rolls.
