Ingredients:
500 g beef mince
2 Tbsp oil
2 finely chopped onions
1 Tbsp plain flour
1 cup (250 ml) beef stock
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Fried egg (optional)
Crusty buttered toast,
A little grated chilli to taste (optional)
Chopped parsley, to serve
Method:
Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium. Cook onion, stirring for 3 minutes, until soft. Increase heat to high and add beef. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring to break up any lumps until browned.
Stir in flour, season to taste and cook for another minute. Stir in stock and worcestershire sauce. Cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 10 minutes.
Serve on hot crusty, buttered toast, with a fried egg (optional) and garnished with chopped parsley.
