Delicious Slow Cooked Pickled Pork
Ingredients
1.5 kg pickled pork
1 roughly chopped onion
1 roughly chopped carrot
14 peppercorns
8 cloves
2 bay leaves
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup malt vinegar
Enough water to cover
METHOD
Place the onion, carrot, peppercorns, cloves, bay leaves, brown sugar, and the malt vinegar into the slow cooker.
Add the pickled pork.
Top with water until the pork is submerged.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Remove the pork and allow to rest for 15 mins. Discard the poaching liquid.
Serve with your favourite veges.
