Ingredients:-
700g Beef
200 mls white wine or apple cider vinegar
1 chopped onion
1 bay leaf
2 pinches Thyme
250g button mushrooms,
3 Tbsp Paprika
10 g icing-sugar
200 mls fresh cream
3 Tbsp Mustard
3 Tbsp table tomato paste
Salt and Pepper to taste
To Serve: Pasta Noodles
METHOD:-
Cut the beef into strips.
In a bowl, put beef, bay leaf, onion, thyme, 1 tsp of paprika, salt, pepper & wine.
Leave to marinate for 1 hour, stir occasionally. Collect meat on one plate & onions on another.
Reserving marinade juice. In a saucepan, heat 2 tsp of olive oil then brown meat for 2 mins, Remove it and reserve.
Brown onions and mushrooms on heat with the rest of the paprika and sugar.
When mushrooms have reduced, add marinade juice, letting it simmer for 5 mins.
Add tomato puree, mustard, and cream, let simmer on low heat for 5 mins and season.
Put meat in sauce & simmer again for 5 mins.
Cook your favourite pasta noodles and add to your dish and serve.
