2. What’s the key difference between Agonline and other sites?
Currently there is only one other site directly related to an established Stock Company i.e. Mylivestock – Allied Farmers. The other sites simply bring vendors and purchasers together. The transaction is then completed directly between the vendor and the purchaser. The key difference with Agonline is the input by our reps and the fact that the sale is completed online with the added benefit of security of payment made through PGG Wrightson.
3. How long does an Agonline account last?
Activated Agonline accounts are valid for twelve months. Before expiration you will receive a text and email reminder to update your contact details and renew your account.
4. Is there a credit check and how long does it take?
Yes for those without a PGG Wrightson's account, it may take a couple of business days.
Because you are selling commercial lines of livestock, it is prudent we mitigate the risk of a renegade buyer purchasing stock and defaulting on the payment, therefore we have instigated a credit check.
Terms of Sale Dairy Forward Contract, the livestock herd processing administration team will be contacting the purchaser and vendor to obtain information on securities, financiers & solicitors. This information was previously noted in the standard contract.
Agonline Terms of Use will have a clause to both parties to acknowledge they give us the right to obtain verification that funds are available and securities will be released.
